Weddings are wonderful ... but our extended creative bridal sessions may create the most romantic and unexpected images to document your love. Since our style of documentary, “real” photography requires more understanding and trust between you and our team, we’ve created the most exciting sessions around.

Your relaxed, fun engagement session will begin in our studio. Bring a variety of outfits, from fancy or business-like to ultra casual We’ll stage a variety of two-shots for your engagement announcement in the paper and your “save the date” postcard, but carry it much farther. You’ll enjoy every minute.

Then you’ll head out with Russ Hanson to three or four locations — spots that mean something special to the two of you, or simply sites that capture the season and a taste of the Fargo-Moorhead area.

There is **no additional charge** for your creative engagement session when you’ve commissioned The LOOK to photograph your wedding.

You’ll receive a digital preview book of all the shots; they’ll also be available in your personal album on our web gallery site if you’d like to purchase prints or cards for yourself or your family. But what (or whether) you purchase is entirely up to you. No requirements! In the case of engagement sessions, getting there is way more than half the fun.

You’ll want to consider, though, one of our most popular innovations — the photographic guest book. Forget that blah white book from Hallmark! Instead, we’ll take 20 or more of your favorite engagement shots and design a full-color, library-bound, leather-covered book for your guests to peruse and autograph. Your guests will love it! (We’ve even had pastors comment that these books are something else.)

When you have your trial salon session, bring your dress to our studio — plus your maid of honor, sisters, parents or even pet — for a session unlike any other.
